The White Crow Syndrome is a behavior seen in nature- a flock of birds will attack and drive away any memeber of the flock that is too different. White or spotted crows, a black pigeon that tries to join a light colored group.
My buddy, neighbor and all around bird-w/broken-wing kind of guy has a pattern running through his life, where he becomes the scapegoat in a group of people. From what he tells me, his incredibly dysfunctional family has blamed him for an incredible amount of their problems, and side with his ex/wife against him. HIs co-workers picked him out to blame for the problems of the work group, and now a social group has ostracized him. None of these people are terrible people; The ones I've met are basic human type beings with normal human type "stuff" going on. My buddy is a normal, although damaged human type being himself, with a ton of love to give to someone. But the women who are attracted to him are so damaged themselves that they can not relate to any but a manipulative personality. This is my own observation, not what he thinks. And part of it is definitely him, not knowing how to be attracted to whole people.
Well, where all this musing is going to, is that I need to perform a mirror spell for this man. He is willing to participate in it, so the more impressive the better. He needs to learn he CAN repel malice, not only by magical means but in mundane ways too. a magical spell would be very affirming for him. Anyone who has a spell in their BOS with lots of candles and incantations for me? I am so worried that this man will become suicidal in time. And that wouldn't bother me so much- except that there is a young son who can't lose his daddy yet.
