ok, decipher this???

I'm sitting here typing away on the boards, and I hear a soft meow and look down at the door of my room, which is slightly ajar, and there are 2 beautiful golden eyes glowing in the dark and I reach out and open the door a bit and there is a lovely 3 colored cat sitting there looking at me. Well, normal up to here right ? EXCEPT I don't own a cat !!!! My dogs who were all on the bed (all 4 of em) were like what the heck ?? So I shut the door behind me and follow the cat into a darkened room (the den) and the dogs get the door open and come gangbusters after me, and by the time I get the lights on, no cat. Now I am not prone to hallucinations or anything, nor have I had any thing legal or illegal that might make me hallucinate a cat..heck if I was gonna hallucinate it would be a good one like the elf boy in LOTR...anyway, now I am like ok, how do I interpret this ??? Perhaps a kitty came thru the doggy door on the back porch, but make its way to me in a dark strange house ??? What yall think ? Color me wierded out! :woah:

nothing amiss in the den..BUT I call that room the "cat room" because all the artwork/prints/wall fan/knicknacks are cats, tigers, french bistro pictures, brass tigers etc.with the exception of my recent school awards and degree. All that is in there is my library shelves, with the books I let other people see, a desk with my papers etc, adn a puter I am trying to heal, a stereo and my cds, and a small tv. The futon has my inner child's toys, a tickle me Elmo, a huge stuffed duck, and a rabbit on it. This room opens onto a sunporch which has my weight bench, sewing machine and craft supples. This is the room with the back dooor with the doggie door. No lights on in either room and no further sign of a cat!

Well, did anyone live in the house before you did...perhaps they owned a cat which died in the house, and the cat just felt like coming back...you know the song...

"The cat came back, the very next day/the cat came back and it wouldn't go away"--lol

Hooray for you!! Sounds like you have a Spirit kitty in your house. It could be a totem or just a kitty stopping by to say hello. Next time, find out the kitty's name.

I have lots a Spirits in my house. After a while, you get used to them.The Spirit animals are great. The human ones can be a pain some times.

I was written up in the local paper (as a local kook from the tone of the article!) because we do have civil war soldiers and assorted camp women flitting around the neighborhood and they have been seen and heard by people who are devout Xians and those without a spiritual bone in their bodies who were in my house. My sister and I got a gift from our daddy..the other sister is radical Xian, and us 2 are on the path and just recently made that known to each other! ANYWAY I was thinking Bast or totem..I dont mind the cat at all..it seems I have always had a cat until recently..now I guess I have one again! The people who lived here before were druggies and only had a german shepherd and no heat or air! I think I will go with totem and explore that aspect. Thanks guys! I was just kind of well damn! A cat!
