Some of you might be interested in looking at this website
www.witchschool.com
there is lessons on many pagan items from aromatherapy to crystals, to making your own incense. It is well worth checking out. Also, they have free membership or paid if you want fuller access. The lifetime membership will be going away after December. It is so worth getting it so you will be locked with the great deal.

True, but there is a much larger selection to choose from. I have noticed some people have asked for Runes, there is that and many others.

The courses offered by the CoT teachers are free. Are the courses on Witchschool.com free too?

Some of them are Xen. But quite a few of the more involved classes are not.

I know the people who run Witch School. They are very respectable and knowledgable adults, and I am sure they are excellent teachers.

I'm a student of witchschool, and I'm actualy forming a real life study group with some friends and some new people. The advantage with witchschool is that you have the option of actualy joining an incorporated Wiccan Church called "Correllian Nativist Church International" and you can become ordained and initated clergy and even start your own Temple (aka coven). So, if you want to be in a legaly recognized group... you can no matter where you live. The leaders are doing their Witchschool Tour right now and you can be initated in person, and for the more advanced degrees, you are required to do inperson workshops with the leadership. It's not 100% corespondence.
I've tried to start groups from scratch, but I soon realized after many burnt pies, that I didn't know enough to lead a group, and that having leadership to help you out is helpful.
I highly recomend the group for anyone interested specificaly in Wicca, oh and their Tarot class is good too, I just started that one.

I have been slowly taking classes on there for about a year. Haven't done any in a while, I just got tired of having to take all the tests. Makes me wanna say, can't I just get the info and read it and learn it without having to test out of every section before they give you anymore info?

Well it is a school for a reason.... if they wanted to just publish information in books and not have tests, they would have done that. Oh and some of the classes do have a published text, which you can buy from the witchschool web site. Or you can get it published on CDROM which is cheaper...

Another option herre is the Universal Life Church (www.ulc.org) which also does Ordinations for free, and they have a Wicca 101 course. I've been Ordained through them for a little over 3 years now. also they have in their "shop" all kinds of credentials, for use in hospitals, press confrences and such. Their ordination is also free, and a few of you might remember that a few years back they went before the courts and fought for their right to ordain poeple over the net...
