Wacky Spell Results!

A few days ago I did a simple spell for money.... It worked, but not the way I expected. I was in a minor car accident and will be getting a check for $1400.00 from the ins. company!!!! What did I do wrong? :yayhawaii

I've always heard that you should throw in a line similar to this: 'in the best interest of all involved'.

if I were doing a spell asking for money, I don't necessarily want it to be from an inheritance... so I would start by asking the Goddess and God to hear me, I would explain what I needed the money for, I would then follow that with the statement above - 'Please let this be in the best interest of all involved' or something similar. My spell may or may not be this simple :) it would depend on what it's for.

It's not so much that you did anything wrong, I think.

Setting free a spell designed to bring you something will function however is easiest for it...

Asking for money without doing/giving something to generate that money (I.e. writing a book or t.v. series for sale, or something like that ) ... well, you get strange results.

Yeah, you gotta remember that for you to gain money, somebody loses money.. it doesn't fall outta the sky, it doesn't grow on trees, the universe doesn't give it to you, it's gotta come from somewhere (an individual, a company, etc)... it's OK to do a spell to bring money, but you can really only bring money that's basically already yours, just not in your hands yet... hope that made sense...

One time, while I was at work, I was worrying about getting some groceries in my house so I wrote on a piece of paper something to the effect of bringing me money. I filled both sides of the paper and then took it outside, burned it, and let the ashes blow in the wind. It was about an hour later that a customer won $1000 on the lottery machine and tipped me $100. :abanana: The next day there were groceries in the house.

that's how i usually do most of my spells, as well. I find them to be the most effective. I do think that my telling Bast about it comes only after I've been thinking about it (whatever it is) for a while though...giving energies time to accumulate on the matter.
