I want children....

How about babysitting someone's wee child. That sure worked for me. I wanted 6 kids and then I babysat my nefew when he was 4 months. Lets just say that I still want kids, just not as many, or nearly so soon. :ahhhh: :ahhhh:

I'm lucky. I have a precious baby girl living with me whose not my daughter, but my sister. Everyone thinks she's mine, though. ^.~ Which is good... and not so good... ;) A 16-year-old with a baby isn't always a respectable image. :ahhhh:

I, however, don't want children, even though I love my little girl more than anything. It's just not something I could handle.

I'd lend you my baby, Tsuchi, but my mom might get mad!

Edit: I'd just like to add that of all the teenage guys I know, in my grade or surrounding grades, you are the only one I've ever heard of who wants children. That's incredibly sweet. (And incredibly attractive, I must say. ;) Where do you live, again...? :D:D)

Babies are definitely a lovely thing to have. I just spent the weekend with a rather adorable specimen
of infancy, and while it certainly wasn't roses all weekend (the poor boy spit up like a fountain) it definitely reaffirmed that I want one or two myself some day.

Tsuchi I think that's awesome that you want kids eventually. Also glad that many of you who replied to his post have decided to wait until you feel you're read and/or can take care of them. My older brother just turned 19 and is a father. They're trying but they have a lot to learn, and they will. But see NOW I get to tell you all about my nephew. THE most adorable, handsome, cutest, sweetest baby in the entire world. Of course I'm biased. Anywas. His name is Shawn an he's 1 and 1/2 months old. He lives with me so it's SO much fun to have around and he just recently started being able to identify voices and all that ooey goodness and so when you talk to him he just stares at ou with those big ol beautiful eyes I love it! lol okay. I'm done. :halohead:

You guys are enjoyable! I am a much (OH YEAH!) older new reader and am pleased by your enthusiasm as well as humor. You are all right with your advise/suggestions! I have numerous neices and nephews that range in age from 25 yrs (yep, 25) to 8 yrs and even great neices and nephews who are from 8 yrs to 18 months. They are all a different kind of joy and personality and all very much loved and appreciated.

I have a 9 year old daughter. I gave birth to her when I was 25, about 1 week after my birthday. What a present! :)

She was shy of being born on Labor Day! So close that this year, her birthday WAS on Labor Day! :)

Last night, my boy Joey had night terrors. My wife and I had to take turns sitting with him so that he would sleep. If we left the room, he would scream and cry. I spent about an hour in the middle of the night laying on the floor with him on my chest to calm him down.

Being a parent is the biggest responsibility you'll ever have.

Kids ARE wonderful and I am planning to adopt soon...my sister on the other hand has 6 little ones between the ages of 3 months to 6 years and I tell ya, they are a handful!! :ugh: And I lived with them for a year....I'm gonna miss them. :( So yeah, guess that's it for me. No kids now but I do want some and soon too because I'm not getting any younger, lol. :ahhhh:

I have 4 and I want more....kids are addictive. Like tattoo's...only cheaper...tattoo's are cheaper, not the kids. Because the kids are really expensive....especially when they are old enough to figure out that Good Will and thrift shops are not "new" clothes. :lol:
