Associations

With what are the Goddess Astarte, and the God Osiris associated? I mean for example healing, love, etc. etc.:huh:

Speaking of associations.. anyone know a specific Goddess who worked with rocks or stones? I can't seem to find anything-- I've seen Goddesses who turned people into rocks, rocks into people, who left their footprints in rocks, who ran and hid inside rocks, little elf creatures who hid behind rocks and devoured people... but no Goddesses to whom rocks were very important. :(

I can only think of Medusa, who's so scary that everybody looking into her face turns into stone...but is she a goddess???

Thanks Avena. :) I think she's considered to be, by some at least. Not exactly what I was looking for, but something to think about nonetheless. :)

Well, I asked around a bit this weekend and the general consensus was that you might try looking at Geb or Gaia. Another suggestion was Earth Gods or Goddesses. I hope this helps.
