Hi everyone. I have noticed that most of the time, my dreams are based upon what happened the previous day or what's been on my mind lately. However, I was just wondering. Is there an effective way to control one's dreams?

I have no control over my dreams at all, by brain is always the one telling the story.

Sure. I do it all the time when the dream is too scary (e.g. I'm being chased and can't seem to get away or hide) , I will remove mysef from the action (1st person) and become an observer not participant (3rd person) so that I am/feel safe. Or when the dream is just bunch of nonsense, I change the dream altogether. Sort of like switching the channel on a TV.

I have quite a bit of control over my dreams as long as I realize I am dreaming. However, I don't figure that out very often. It's fun when I do though!
