Have you ever had an unexplainable feeling that there truly is a big mission out there for you to compleat?
Even in the lowest parts of my life, where I was actually suicidal, I truly felt that if I gave up right then, things would go awfully awry.
That I, in some wierd way, was highly important in some bigger plan.
I've had a bunch of times where I should have been seriously injured.
been thrown off bikes while riding without helmets, or almost getting run over by trucks or cars.
Everytime something has happened and everything ended up just fine.
So any guardian angel of mine would have to work overtime.
Not to mention my sometimes over the edge mental state, which has, incredibly enough, never ended in severe mental illness.
Everytime anything happened, when I felt I was in physical or mental danger, it felt like the world just stopped for a second, held it breath as though everything was about to end, and then things end up just all right anyway.
It sounds really whacked, I know. :veryweird
And I probably sound like I believe I am this big, incredible person who's going to do wonders.
But I just wanted to ask if anyone else had ever felt this way, or if I'm just... wierd.

No... I know how you feel. We all hit low places, but when I hit mine... I just stop, and breathe... and I get this overwhelming feeling that there's something better out there for me, if I just hold on. Something I'm meant to accomplish in this life.
:hugz: I know how you feel, truly, I do.

I do not think you are wierd in any way.I have had several close brushes with death and the Doctors did not expect me to make it except for my strong will to live.I believe there is something I am to accomplish as well in this life.I think most people feel that at some point in their life.

Yes... I know this feeling. Almost like you have control over your own fate at certain moments... but sometimes it is uncertain. Sometimes I'll get a feeling and then things turn out they way I want them too, it has happened more than likely. Sometimes things get thrown at you all at once, like is what I'm feeling now... if I could just bear it alittle longer, the flow will change direction... and go the right way. There will be moments like those, and they will not last for long. Just keep your head up and always look up at the sky. There you'll see those signs. I don't know what it is, devination, mysticsism... whatever... the answers are out there- and your path will become clearer as you go. Good luck. In good fate.

I certainly know the feeling. I feel as though I'm here to help people, animals, and the Earth. I really just don't know how yet.

I also know this feeling. I used to have an insanely chaotic and selfdestructive lifestyle. Should've died many many times, inexplicably didn't. The one time I tried to kill myself the shotgun would not fire, just click. Pointed it at the wall and pulled and boom. At that moment I just laughed and said to whoever/whatever saved me that time something like "If that's how it's going to be, then guide me, show me, tell me what I'm supposed to be doing here so I can get it done and leave." And they have. After I surrendered to them the communication opened up. I used to argue that they made a bad choice because I make so many mistakes that draw me away from the path but they said that the mistakes aren't a deviation away from the path, they are the path, obstacles to overcome and learn from.
So, anyway, I think it's good that you feel that. Just let yourself be guided. Open yourself to it.

[Have you ever had an unexplainable feeling that there truly is a big mission out there for you to compleat? You know my husband brought this topic up the other day at home. I sometiems wonder if there is a mission to complete and if so I wonder what it is., especially after all we have both endured before and after we met.

Hey, great reply! Exactly... that's what happened to me...
Well, once I tried suicide by drinking a few bottles of liquor and took a few bottles of pills, and still woke up the next morning... I was like "What?"
Yes, the path that I was on, confused the crap out of me... all the visions and signs... I asked the spirits for help and they have shown me the way. I still have alot to learn but just by being here, I'm discovering that I'm not alone through posts like these. :)

Yeah. I get that feeling a lot. Like there’s something I’m supposed to do. I just don't know what yet, and that gets very annoying. Because I'm one of those anal people that has to have a purpose all the time. Well not really, but whenever I start thinking about stuff like that I do. 8O

Yes! I've always had that feeling! ALL the time! It's like "You were meant to save the world, but not now, at the right time. So take care of yourself!!!"
Kind of... thing. :D But yes! I know exactly what you mean :D It's so exciting!

I know that feeling. It also helps me stop when I'm in a really dark place. The reason why it's probably held me back was because I was told that in our lives, there is one person that only *I* could help, get through to (same for everyone). that without me, one person would not make it or be all they could be (no army pun intended ) and thus, a downward spiral. i fully believe it, which is why i cant give up, b/c i dont know if i've gotten through to that one person yet or not.
but yes, i do know that feeling that there is something bigger out there for each and every one of us, and that it is vital that we complete it during our current lifetime.

Occasionally. **Smiles** I generally just try to work with whatever direction the Universe sees fit to send me, though on occasion I do take the initiative and change my own course. I guess that's how I ended up in the Air Force... :p

Yeah I agree with that. I'm a firm believer in fate, and as such the way I see it everyone has their piece of the pattern to weave.
Also, we tend to underestimate the will of a human being to "make things right." The harder things get, the more we try, in some situations non-stop, to make them better. We're an incredibly stubborn species :D

Yes, I feel there's a life mission for me to complete. Sadly, I don't know what that is yet.

Life's purpose is decided, not discovered. :)

And that's the problem! So many things to learn and paths to explore, so little time.
