Stain Glass makers??

Has anyone done stain glass work? The local community centre is offering a 2 night course on stain glass. I know nothing about stain glass work. I was thinking of trying it.

I've never done stain glass work. My brother has though and a cousin of mine is a glass blower. I've seen some beautiful works. We have a peice hanging in the sun room. It has different bits of glass and the glass is in different colours and textures, but it also has one of those glass half marble things that adds three dimention. I've seen other works by that artist and she adds curved bits of broken bottles and ceramics. It's very interesting. Hope this gets the creative juices flowing! Enjoy the class!

Thanks Jewlz! I've always wanted to try doing stained glass. I'm really looking forward to this class...I'll try anything crafty at least once!

Ok, I'm REALLY, REALLY excited! The first class is tonight! I've spoken with the instructor & our first project is a sun catcher. I'm going make mine a pentacle! :p Lol! Very original!

Ok, I finished my stain glass suncatcher! Sorry, no pics...no scanner. Well, you would probably laugh anyways. It's supposed to be a seashell. I brought it home & hubby looks at it & says that's a nice ice cream cone! Y'know what? He's right! :lol:
