I look in the fridge and see iced tea. I think, "Yay! Homemade iced tea!" It was in a normal container, smelled like iced tea, looked like iced tea, and was with the other drinks. So, I decided to have some.
It was liquid potpourri. :dis:
If I had swallowed it, I'd probably be in the hospital right now getting my stomach pumped. Who the heck in their right mind put that in there UNMAKRED right next to the edible stuff? I don't know if I want to slug who put it in the fridge or the guy who invented liquid potpourri. Stupid invention... :meanhead:
In case you're curious, liquid potpourri does NOT taste like it smells. Of course, if you want to prove me wrong, be my guest.

[QUOTE=Marchosias]Why was it it the fridge?
I have to agree. Why was it in the fridge?????Is it because it was getting a little warm in the simmering pot and wanted cooled off or something??? Glad that you are ok.

Oh man, that sounds NASTY. Glad you're okay. I bought some very expensive handmade chocolates yesterday only to find that the idiots who made it decided Earl Grey tea leaves would be the perfect ingredient to include as one of the flavors. Man, I almost didn't make it to the sink fast enough to spit it out.

bet your breath smells good  no really, that does suck....they should label that stuff.
Reminds me about a show I saw about this guy who worked at the beach and went in the fridge to drink some water....turns out he drank a glass of jellyfish stingers that someone was keeping as a specimen to do lab work on.
So yeah, labels are a must!

I saw that show! He's lucky he survived...I think those were box jellyfish stingers and they're very often fatal. (Just goes to show, don't put anything in your mouth you haven't looked at first).

Oh wow... I'm glad you're okay. :hugz: I have to second or fourth the question, "Why was it in the fridge?" I thought you had to keep it in a simmer pot or put it on regular potpourri (sp?)

a few extra moments of burning time is not worth the chance of poisoning someonehttp://smilies.jeeptalk.org/otn/funny/twak.gif
