I had an idea that it would be inspiring to have an Altar thread where you can leave your messages of proudness. This idea was inspired by Calyx's thread about acts restoring our faith in humanity. There are many times when I feel overwhelmed and it would be lovely to gain some perspective and see that there is so much that's wonderful in all our lives.

Also, we don't give ourselves enough credit these days...so this can be a place to big yourself up and realise you are beautiful!

I'm proud of myself for pulling myself out of a vicious circle i was in for almost a year. I never thought i could manage to achieve anything, even though it is so little, it's done the world of good. And I could never have done it without the help of my fiance. :woot: Morgan!

Also I'm really proud of Morgan for doing the same thing, and for really going for his dream and passion of writing music.

I'm proud of my sister for bringing up a little one even though so much has been on her plate and she's had hard times. I'm proud that she's managed to raise such a beautiful boy who is such a joy to be around!

I'm proud of Phoenix_Blue for standing by her convictions and having the strength and courage to say so. That's a very inspiring quality.

there is much more, but today this will be enough.

note: if this is in the wrong place mods, please feel free to move where you think it fits best! :)

I am proud of myself that even though I sold next to nothing at the Autumn Lights show, I put my best face forward, made (hopefully) a lot of contacts and will continue to get my business moving in the right direction.

[I]I needed to be able to say that- yesterday I had so many doubts and disappointments. I needed the chance to realize that even though I did poorly from a financial perspective, I did a great job on many other levels. Thank you raydreamer![QUOTE]
