Does anyone have a good natural remedy for a sinus infection?

I have tried several things I know of to no avail.........I Hate Doctors........:uzi: :uzi: :smash: :smash: :uzi: :smash: :uzi: :smash: ....ok I am done:D

Have you tried drinking gingerroot tea with cayenne pepper and honey? It usually always helps my sinus problems. And, it tastes really good. Although, if you have high blood pressure, you may want to stay away from cayenne.

I agree with the tea idea, you can also grate the ginger and mush it with water and pack on you sinus and nose forehead area.

OK....to much cayanne.........what is the usual amount of all the ingredients?(sp):D :D :D

Oops. Sorry. It's best to start with a dash of cayenne. It depends on how well you like spicy stuff. A friend turned me on to a tsp. of cayenne followed by a glass of water to cleanse the body of a cold. I had no problems with all that spice, but it's a matter of personal preference.

Good thing I like spice......***Sucking the tea down now***

didn't have any more cayenne....substituted red pepper...hope it still works:D :D

I usually put a few drops of eucalyptus essential oil in some boiling water and inhale under a towel. It clears the sinuses and if you've gotten a sore throat from the infections, it will help that as well. (I'm very prone to sinus infections in winter. Not fun :( )
