What are you all doing for Samhain? If you're making a special dinner, what's on the menu? Who are you celebrating it with? Do you plan on doing something different this year that you usually don't do on Samhain?

This will be my first year actually having a real Samhain celebration and I'd be interested in hearing what all of you are doing!

I already started collecting pinecones and squash to make decorations and such :D I'm so excited!

My Samhain will be spent in a motel room with my husband and daughter so that we can be together, surrounded by lots of candles and perhaps I will carry something seasonally significant to eat with me on the train. Would have to be edible cold.
Suggestions anybody?
We will celebrate to the music of Blackmore's Night.

Our local Pagan organization will have a nice big ritual on the evening of October 31. It is going to include a passion play, The Descent of Inanna. After the ritual and play we will have a Rememberance potluck. It should be interesting as we generally have about 100 or so attending our Samhain rituals.

For the night of November 6th it will be something smaller and more personal.

I think I'm going to a Witches Ball held by our local CUUPs. But if you're looking for some ideas, check out that Pagan Parenting link below my banners. There's an article with ideas about how to celebrate Samhain. It's aimed for parents with kids, but they can be tailored.
