Ok, I've started my Book of Shadows on the computer... but I'd like to use a nice font! All of the script, fancy fonts I have are impossible to read when they're small (12 or 14), or they don't have puctuation (yeah, some fonts don't).

Does anyone know some nice, readable but pretty fonts I could download? *puppy dog eyes*

I like the look of the Celtic type fonts.

I'm fond of the Papyrus font myself. And Poor Richard.

www.acidfonts.com is quite good, but it might involve a bit of trawling.

If you're going to build a website, it's best to stick to something like Arial for the main body of your writing, otherwise I think it will look screwy for people who don't have the font you use.

www.dafont.com

It's a free font site, and on the left hand toppish cornerish part you can click see all fonts or something, and you can choose a script or calligraphy listing and such, it's really cool!

I adore fonts of many faces and types. Some would say I'm a fontaholic, but it's definitely not something I want to recover from!

I have to agree with this, except my font of choice is Verdana for a basic font. To me, Arial is a little too narrow, while Verdana is wider (and easier to read, imo).

Or, if it's a free font (and the font agreement allows), you can always stipulate that the reader download said font in order to better enjoy your BoS. :) (just make sure that you use a regular font as secondary and that it at least looks ok) :D

Oh, and let us see it when you're finished! :boing:

It's not a website- it's just files and stuff kept in a folder on my desktop. But I wanted some nice fonts.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. ;) I'll check themout. I like Papyrus too, but I've never used Poor Richard. I'll have to look it up.

(I prefer Verdana over Arial, too. I think Ariel looks too narrow. :P Just like silverstard said.)

I actually prefer Verdana too, but Arial was the first one that popped into my head :nyah: And yes, I'd love to see it too.
