Your favourite Doughnut fillings

I love doughnuts and i just can't get enough of them, what is your most favourite doughnut filling? Do you not like a flavoured doughnut or do you just like the ring variety with the icing on them?

My favourites fillings are the Blueberry and custard varieties!!

I love donuts too. Any kind for me really tho I do prefer the ringed to the filled. I said maple covered because it sounded the best to me right at this moment. Yum donuts,

Boston Cream which I think actually qualifies as a custard. I also like Raspberry and Strawberry. Krispy Kreme has this one with Whoppers on it and stuff. It's really good! If I eat just a plain donut though I like old fashioned cake donuts. :smile:

Ooh...is it Krispy Kreme that puts cheesecake in donuts...I think they've opened a store in Sydney...which is 1000 kilometers away from me...but it bodes well for the future.....

Gawwwwwwwd it's really hard to pick a favorite filling because it has all to do with the combination of what sort of donut it is in the first place, as to what sort of filling will make it perfect.

I could only narrow it to 3 favorites.
1 - Custard
2 - Choccy cream
3 - Apple Cinnamon :clapping:

I really don't like the homeade/storemade type donuts very much unless they're Krispy Kreme plain ones, but I am completely addicted to the Hostess kind with Raspberry filling and powdered sugar on the outside. Yum!

My fave is the Bismarck they make at Arremony's Bakery in the town I grew up in. It's strawberry and white frosting filled, with powdered sugar on the outside. Deeelish! :drool:

i have a thing for apple fritters. I will eat any kind of filled donut, i especially love Krispy Kreme's mocha donut. i also love plain glazed, twists, and those cinnamon sugar coated things. as far as cake donuts are concerned, my fave is chocolate with chocolate frosting and nuts.

I love cheese danish. They're so, SO incredibly wrong. I mean, you take something that's already one of the most evil, fattening food substances on earth, donuts, and then you fill them with THE most evil, fattening food substance on earth...that cream cheesey stuff they fill cheesecakes with. Anything that wicked is definitely for me.

My second favorite filling is custard. Chocolate frosted custard-filled Bismark? Oh yeah, I'm there. :drool:

I do not eget to eat them very often but I do love Chocolate covered custard filled.I also love a cake type ring doughnut that is a glazed blueberry type and an apple cinnamon ring cake type too thats also glazed and then there are the ones that are cake with toasted coconut on them. Yummy and must have milk with them !!! Ok now I am hungry :awwman:
