We've made a decision.

Today I talked with my girlfriend, and she told me she wants to get into Wicca with me. I don't know much of this religion, I know the basics, but I think there's much more knowledge than I currently own and because of that, I was wondering if people know any good sites where I can get my "basics" from. I have to translate everything to Dutch too because my g/f isn't that good in English (or is it *at* English? ;)) but that won't be much of a problem. I hope anyone knows good beginner sites to Wicca.


BTW - I noticed some friends who are Wiccans speak about Wiccæ rather than Wicca. Is there a difference between the two?

Well, I used books for most of my studies in Wicca/Paganism. The internet was not an option for me at the time. But, I do know that www.witchvox.com (The Witches Voice) is an excellent site to visit, other than my favorite MysticWicks!

With regard to Wiccae, I have seen that word used in other countries for Wicca, just another variation. :D

I see everyone is giving you websites. I began with books and the one I highly recommend is Starhawk's "The Spiral Dance." It is a great resource to always have whether for rituals or basic hitory and background. You may even be able to find a translated copy, I'm not sure. Anyway, I keep my copy close by at all times.

My recommendation is A Witch Alone by Marion Green which I'm currently reading. So far it is wonderful.
