what is the *best* banana creme pie you have ever eaten?
i have a hankering for it for some reason and i think i can convice everybody that we *need* some for the family dinner tonight (we are meeting my brother's "almost" in laws)
send me your recipes .... :)

I can't recall, since I haven't eaten it in long time. Probably the kind my mother makes.

That being said, know what's also good? Graham crackers with sliced bananas on them, driseled with chocolate sauce and topped with whipped cream. :mmm:

It's almost CRIMINAL!!! Banana Cream is my second favorite! (A VERY close second to pecan pie.) Oh goodness...you need to try one...SOON!

I make mine this way.... Get a graham or chocolate crust (we prefer the graham) and slice lots of banannas in the bottom then put in 2 packages of bannana pudding and cover with whipped cream. refrigerate for a couple of hours. very, very easy and the family LOVES it!!!

I put toasted coconut in mine Yummy. I use 2 packs of banana pudding mix and slice 2 or 3 bananas into it and toast 1/2 cup of coconut and mix that all together and
I will use a ready crust pie crust or graham cracker crust and pour that mixture into it and top it with hand beaten egg whites and lightly brown them in the oven.
