I found this deck in a book store about 2 months ago, and have found it is a real joy to read. It comes in a rather large box, with a rather large book. :) The book explains different layouts, AND some realy great dragon rituals! I found this extreamly helpful, as i am still in te process of learning about dragons, and the other wonderful fey folk. Has anyone else seen this deck? I highly reccomend it!

My hubby got this one a month or so ago. He is still new to reading and hasn't had a lot of time to get to know the cards. So he is having a bit of difficulty reading them. But if he ever gets the time to spend with them, I am sure he will be as happy as you are! The book looks great too.

I kinda want to get my hands on that deck myself.

*reaches out and...*
Bad Chris!

I ordered it straight off the rack lol I've had it for quite a while now I really enjoy it I have this and the more traditionally illustrated Dragon Tarot by Terry Donaldson who I also find highly enjoyable. The only thing I don't like is the no reverse meanings, i love that swords are fire though *purrs*

the Terry Donaldson one always saw in stores, but never seemed to want to buy it. A lot of people don`t like doing reverse meanings I think that is why she didn`t put it in. Also while looking through the book that comes with it. the cards are more focused on making contact with astral dragons than with general divination purposes

I bought the Celtic Dragon Tarot a few years ago. It's a beautifully illustrated water color deck.

I'm sad to say that I don't connect with it. I don't use Tarot for fortune-telling, but for contemplative meditation. I don't find that the CDT lends itself to that (for me).

Well it's obvious you havent read the book that comes with the Dragon Tarot then. Some may not like reverse meanings, I think that more stems from the fear of a negative reading, the Celtic Dragon Tarot I find tries to make every situation a happy one, I like a deck that doesn't fear telling the truth. Like I said I have both and connect to both on differing levels, and the only criticism I have is no reverse meanings.

I was bummed too. But I'm still glad I have the deck. I love dragons. :hahugh:
