Help! I am laying on the couch and can't get up! I really need some help. Any advice to cure couch potato syndrome? I seem to be lacking motivation. I wake up, grab a cold Mountain Dew, turn on TV, and sit on the couch all day until I go to work. I don't like to think of myself as lazy but can't seem to find a better word for it. Besides my couch Is so very comfortable!

You can really force yourself to do other things. One night before you go to bed, unplug the TV, put your remote in the glove box of the car and put something on the couch. What can you do? Talk a walk, a jog, drive someplace you've never been, go check out the local library...

Sounds like you are just in a state of flux. When I get like that I start writing in the morning- first thing after nature's call. Three pages, anything on my mind. A path magically appears and before long the couch is history.

Thats my suggestion. Get a nice Bean Bag. Always great to sit in for hours upon end...

I will not get rid of my couch! I love my couch very much. Since I have started this thread I also posted the problem in the alter. It seems to be working very well. I haven't been sitting on the couch very much. Only when I am here.
