If anyone has stepped on a ripped out heart, it's probably mine! I had to put my 19 year old kitty to sleep today because she had a bad tumour and was too old and frail to have surgery. She was gone so fast - poor little one was ready, I think. Dash it, dash it all to you know where. At least I was with her and the doctor was extremly compassionate. :( :( :( Her 5 yr. old brother is moping around the house looking for her and I feel so guilty. What a drag. I keep seeing her everywhere, looking to see if I'm going to trip over her and looking out under her favorite tree.
:( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

:heartthro Thanks for the good kitty vibes guys. When Tammy was given the injection I was saying prayers to Bast and telling my little kitty girl there were a lot of others waiting on the other side to take care of her. I do feel guilty for letting her go even though it was the best decision. I keep looking for her and so does my other cat. :( The good thing is that she had a good life even though she had a rough start. She was abused as a baby and rescued by a neat woman who adopted her out to me. Those little fur people always seem to be able to steal my heart.
