Travel Channel Ghost TV

Just in time for Halloween, the Travel Channel has Ghost/Haunting shows all this week! They start at 8pm, then they repeat them around 10pm and run until 12am-1am. I stayed up way too late Sunday night watching a few of these shows. It was fun though!

Thought I'd let all our Ghost fans here know about it. :ghost:

Last night they had an hour special on Loretta Lynn's old mansion. She bought it back in the 60's or 70's. Apparently it has quite a history. It was around for the Civil War. There's a trap door right near the Front door of the house. They found old slave shackles and chains down in the trap. It was dark and spooky down there...

Also, there's a room in the house they call the Brown Room. This was one of her son's rooms, and one night he woke up to find 2 civil war ghostly figures standing over his bed. He never slept in that room again!

Some years later her Other son, was very tired and went to sleep in this room. I guess he was so tired he didn't think about the haunted Brown room. He was woken up in the middle of the night by someone tugging at his shoes. When he opened his eyes he saw a ghostly figure pulling on them! Yikes!

Needless to say he never slept in that room again...

Also, there's a lady in a white dress who roams the house as well. Loretta has seen the ghost along with her daughters. :ghostie:

The Brown Room also gets cold drafts, and they find dead flies around the windows. During the t.v. show they mentioned that this is a sign of ghosts. Not sure why though...
