~~>Here lately I have been a little curious as to what an aura actually looks like.
Well, I was watching/listening to my history teacher do her little lecture during class and I couldn't help but notice this..I don't know..kind of blue-like color surrounding her head. I wasn't sure if it was just my eyes being blurry but could this be her aura that I saw? I looked at everyone else in the class and I didn't see anything around them. Could it be because the black chalk board was behind her? Do you think the background behind a person has to do with seeing an "aura"? (was it an aura?!) :holycow:
hummm..any comments or suggestions would be helpful.
Thanks,
Alicia

I kind of giggled when I read this because my name is also Alicia and I am able to see auras, the other day I as well saw one of my professor's auras and a few of the classmates in the front row.

I have basically concluded that the flourescent lighting and dark colour of the chalk board work perfectly for seeing it. Also don't forget no one ever pays 100% attention to them talking, so as a result our eyes relax as we daydream, which enables us to see these things better.

It depends on how far the blue was from her head. If it was 6 inches or less, it was probably her etheric body. But, you saw blue and the eitheric body is normally white.

Auras start about 6 inches from the physcal body and can extend great distances. The more highly evolved the soul, the bigger the aura.

Sounds to me like you were seeing a bit of aura. Don't look directly at a person. Look over the left or right shoulder. Unfocus you eyes, and have fun.

Yeah I would say the blackboard helped you see his aura, the contrast of the black background and him in front of it helped relax the rods in you eyes. There are eye-chart exercises that can help you to learn to adjust more quickly. Ted Andrews How to: see and read the aura has some great exercises to train your eyes to see them clearly, course there are a lot of great reading materials out there. :uhhuhuh:

It could have been your aura. Easier to try it using a mirror, and look around your own head and shoulders. Be aware that they aren't static; they change colour as your emotions do :)

would anything behind me in the mirror affect my ability to see something?

it wont affect the aura, but patterned wallpaper for example, can make it more difficult to actually see. Like you said in the first post, a black background like a blackboard is perfect :)
Just make sure you find a plain bit of wall to sit infront of :D

I see them quite often as well, and yes with my teachers! I see yellow most of the time, sometimes red, sometimes more than one color. Its awesome, and it usually tells me what general mood they are in at the time. :viking:

I hate to break it to ya, but I really doubt it's an aura. I see those too. stare at anything long enough, and it will "glow" Heck, when I had art class, and it was time for my friend to sketch me, I would stare into space, unblinking, and the whole room would go white.
