Trouble with unbidden visions..

As a rule of thumb, I never really talk of my visions, or flashes, as I like to call them. Only one of my friends really knows, and I doubt even she believes me. What happens is, I usually get small flashes of visions, that I see before they happen. The other day someone was talking about art, and had I wanted to, I could have quoted their every word.
But lately, they are a bit stronger, and having never been able to control them, it's a little bit more unsettling. I was in the shower just yesterday, and I saw a woman, standing at the railing in my foyer beside my brother's room. It's was very vivid, one of the most vivid I've had. And given that my brother's room is haunted, I think I saw his ghost.
I don't usually mind them, I find them amusing most often than not, but now it's beginning to be more intense and it's harder to go on with my day after seeing them, can someone help me out? I don't want to be rid of them, but I just find that it'd be easier to bear if I had a way to control it better. :awwman:

Well, Samhain is right around the corner, so perhaps your visions and seeing your brothers ghost more vividly and clearly than u have before is because this ghost wishes to be recognized? maybe? just an idea... lots of times ghosts go unnoticed by us and miss it so much, that they make themselves known by whatever means they can. If the ghost knows what your beliefs are (if you practice Samhain), then they'd want to try to be recognized how. thats just an idea. dont know for sure, but its a thought....

I sincerely agree! But for one thing...I've seen the ghost before. And she's not very nice either.I have restricted her to inside his room, but for some reason she wasn't in there.

I don't know too much about visions, but maybe try meditation to get better control over them? Ask a Guide, or your diety, or whatever, for assistance with controlling them. About the unfriendly ghost, maybe you should banish her? Cleanse the area and ask her to leave, but if she doesn't then do a banishing ritual.

(I dont get it as strongly as you do, but I get very strong deja vu, and like you could often quote what people are saying word for word. I find it disconcerting, but interesting. :) )

That is just like what I used to get, (the deja vu thing) but it's just jumped the scale lately and I space out in the middle of a conversation or in the middle of class. And I guess I didn't think about the ghost thing there...

Maybe you could just use some big :hugz: :smile:

I can see how zoning out in class might be annoying and impractical. Perhaps try carrying some red jasper in your pocket during those times you dont want it to happen, to ground you; it might help a bit :)

ps - this rune might help, too. It's 'gear' and basically means harvest, wheel of the year, what-goes-around-comes-around, and that everything has a 'flow' etc, and also encompasses the rune 'gyfu'; exchange and gift.
In theory it would work along the premise that you wouldn't get the visions when it was inconvenient to you, in exchange for getting them when it was, instead. In theory. :D

You could try tracing it when the visions happen, or when you think they will, or carry it around drawn on some jasper, or wood, or even just a bit of paper folded up in your pocket xx
