A profoundly sad day lies ahead

It is nearing a year since a dear friend, mentor and guide left this life. I realized, today, that this was the annual month of his passing. A sad day awaits me. I shall pray on the Esbat that he is well and his family is cared for. I have not heard from them for some time and pray they are well. I am working on a poem in his memory that I will deliver on the anniversary of his passing.

Sorry for your loss. I hope you get in touch with your friends family soon. It is so important to keep in touch. I too have been thinking about a beloved friend and mentor who passed two years ago this month. I've been dreaming about her alot as well. In one dream Gayle came to visit me in my new home and we sat and talked for what seemed like hours. It seems as though anytime I need her she is there whether I'm having troubles or just going through changes. I awaken with a new sense of inspiration to get me through.
