I can't really tell you much at all... I'll just make a guess based on a few of your basic signs (ascendant and sun in cancer, moon in aries) that you're very protective of your family, sometimes in an aggressive way... A lot of your planets seem to be in houses of career, finance... so that's probably pretty important to you as well.

(Again, I'm just throwing out words. I don't know much about this!)

Well, as Moonstone says - the three most important points are your Sun, Moon and Ascendant.

Everyone knows their Sun sign - when you say to someone "I'm a Cancer", what you're really saying is "my Sun is in Cancer". "Cancer" is a particular chunk of sky, and that's where the Sun was when you were born; the Moon was in a different chunk of sky - the Moon was in the chunk of sky called "Aries" when you were born, and various other planets were in other chunks of sky. There are 12 chunks of sky, called "signs".

Now, as well as the planets which move quite slowly (the Moon moves quite a bit faster - so someone born the day after you will still have Sun in Cancer, Mars in Libra and so on - but their Moon will have moved into Taurus) the Earth spins every 24 hours, so a different chunk of sky is rising over the Eastern horizon every couple of hours. The sign that's rising when you are born is therefore very dependent on your birth time - and in your case, it was Gemini that was rising when you were born. So Gemini is your "rising sign" or "Ascendant".

Your Ascendant is very important - it's how you come over to people, whereas the Sun is the "real you". So you probably come over as chatty and communicative (cos that's what Gemini is like), and when people get to know you better they may be a bit surprised to find that fiercly protective and easily hurt Cancer Sun underneath.

If you read newspaper horoscopes, you ought to read both Cancer and Gemini. The Sun sign horoscope (Cancer) will tell you the type of day you're going to have - is it an upbeat happy scope, or a downbeat scary one? However, the rising signs one (Gemini) will tell you *where* that upbeat or downbeat scope will play out - eg family, travel etc.

Your Moon is about your feelings - and yours is in Aries, which as Moonstone says can be aggressive when it comes to protecting your family. The Moon is all about family as well as feelings - and rules Cancer, your Sun sign. So your Moon is *very* important in your chart (she's important in all charts, but especially so in the chart of someone who is a Cancer) - so Cancer can be fiercly protective anyway, and Aries aggressively so.

Add to that the fact that your Moon is very "busy" - she's making "aspects" all over the place. In astrology, aspects are the angles that planets make to each other - there are nice comfortable easy-flowing aspects like "sextiles" (that's 60 degrees) and "trines" (120 degrees), and difficult aspects like "squares" (right-angle, 90 degrees) and "oppositions" (180 degrees). Now, your Moon makes a square to your Sun and an opposition to both Saturn and Mars and Pluto. Ouch! That ain't easy.

Mars is the warrior - rules Aries, and can be aggressive, though in Libra is more likely to be assertive than aggressive. Saturn can feel restricting, although also adds groundedness and stability to a chart. Pluto is a bit like a CIA agent - the chart's "Men in Black" character. Pluto is intense, intense, intense - and in combination with Mars can be explosive. And this little set up is sitting opposite your Moon - Pluto/Moon is a very difficult combination, and can mean very intense feelings, and an over-the-top powerful relationship with your mother during childhood. This doesn't necessarily mean a bad relationship, but an intense one - though to be honest, Pluto/Moon combinations are rarely indicators of happy relationships with parents.

So it suggests you may bottle up your feelings for a while, and then let them out explosively in arguments. That poor Moon of yours is carrying a lot of burdens!

On the positive side, your Moon makes a lovely trine to Neptune, which in turn makes a nice sextile to Jupiter - so you're very intuitive and creative.

As to my chart, that is most correct. I am highly creative, very protective ( especially of my infant son) and i do carry alot of burdens for my family because i feel the need to.

From taking a look at your planets and whatnot, I would offer a suggestion to you....with all that Moon stuff, and Mars.....do you run? Or maybe kickbox? I have a Pluto-Moon square and a Saturn-Moon square so I can understand a bit. Saturn can be like a block of dry ice...or being frozen in one. Pluto can be a bit like hot lava or being a volcano. Also, sometimes Cancers forget to take care of themselves because they're taking care of everyone around them. You might try to get a half hour in the tub once a day or every other day or whatever you find relaxing (cooking?). It's really important for you to take care of yourself and to try to find ways to release some of that intensity/anger. You have some lovely Venus contacts as well so maybe you can look to your Venus to help you out with some of the tougher stuff in your chart.

2wicky, I used to box.. I gave it up some years ago.. I do often forget to do things for just me. I am going to try what you suggested and see how that goes.
I truely appreciate the suggestion!
