(I don't know if this is the right place to be asking this, so feel free to move me to the right forum if this isn't )

I think i am missing something. Or else i am reading into something that has no meaning. Can someone help me out?

Over the past 2 weeks i have almost hit a dog, had to slam the brakes on as the dog was dawdling across the road. Nearly ran over 2 pidgeons (sp?) as they wouldn't move away from the front of my car. Had 2 magpies swoop my car, it's spring here and they are on the rampage! A nightowl flew in front of my car with a mouse in its claws (at night of course) and yesterday 2 Ravens/crows followed me when i drove my kids to school.
To top it all off, the other night when i drove home it was the first night of the full moon and i happen to look up and the moon was lighting up the clouds from behind and there was a kangaroo outlined and the rune Ehwaz was next to it outlined as well.

Is this a message? I just don't understand. If it is a message, i am not getting it. Is there anyone here at MW that might have some insight into this????? Please?

look into the meanings of the various animals, symbols, etc... maybe start a diary of such happenings and look for a common thread?

To me, the message sounds distinctly like "Slow down when you're driving in such an animal-populated area."

As to the kangaroo with the rune, that sounds like something to research.

Hmmm, not sure what the common thread is among so many birds, but they seem to keep appearing in sets of two, eh? Do you have two children who are trying to get you to let them 'spread their wings' a bit more than you allow?

Or maybe with the added image of the kangaroo, they may be facing a difficulty or danger and need some guidance or protection from you?

The Ehwaz rune speaks of dangers and obstacles that are not real, but are an illusion that your mind has created in order to teach you a lesson in dealing with a particular problem. Are you overly cautious in giving your children freedom to grow and explore their world?

Just tossing out some ideas here...

That was my first thought. Though almost running over the pidgeons happened while going about 2kms p/h as i was driving out of a parking lot. And yes, i have slowed down, both in my car and in my life. I was always rushed, now i tell everyone i will be there when i get there and if they don't like it to find another lift. LOL

I think that is what is confusing me, the different types of birds/animals. It was only when the Ravens followed me that i began thinking that it was a message of some sort. I see Ravens as messengers - and they are my favourite birds :) I have 3 kids, 1 is a baby and the other 2 are 10 & 13. They have a pretty free reign with everything, they no the limits and never step over the line but they know they can do pretty much anything as long as it is within the boundaries i set - which are pretty lenient compared to alot of other parents boundaries.

I was looking at these happenings singularly. I am now going to research them as a 'group' thing. As now it has all stopped. So i think i will put it all together and see what i come up with. I keep getting a recurring theme of travel, yet there is no way i am going to be travelling [physically] in the foreseeable future.
Maybe travelling further along my chosen path? That is a possibility.

Ok, thanks for the input. It has made me think outside the box a bit more.

I read your question the other day and thought someone needs to help. Well today I found a website that had the symbolism of many birds. Plus what is means when you see the bird flying or not. the site is www.goddessvision.net. Click on the link for the Dream symbol of the month. Good luck. :bigblue:
