Found lost kid in park.

I work for my local park commission. Anyhow, tonight a kid got hurt at the park and then ran off. It was after 8:30pm at night. And quiet dark. I was not sure we'd be able to find him. I found him about a mile or so a way. He would not come near me. Keep running away, anyhow, luckly his Grandma was coming the other way and got him. She has been trying to take care of him. You see his Mom left him last week. And his dad could care less. So, grandma has been taking care of him. But, he is only 11 and feels hurt buy his Mom leaving him. And when Grandma did not react quick to his injury, he ran off thinking that no one cared about him. Mom is an alcoholic and has left the state because she is on the run from the law. Anyhow, at least the kid is back with grandma tonight. I feel so said for him.

Poor kid. I think when the dust settles down, he'll realize that his Grandma loves him very much and maybe he'll feel a little better. It's rough when you feel like no one cares, especially your parents. Been there, done that, survived and I'M A VERY LUCKY GROWN UP KID THESE DAYS. (had to be said :loveduv: )

I hope it gets better both for him and his Grandma. :heartthro

That poor kid, he's lucky to have a grama that obviously cares. He'll come around, I'm sure.

I'm glad you found him & he's ok. Poor little guy! He's the same age as my son...they still need lots of love & hugs at that age.

I am so glad you found him also!! That had to feel great to know he spent the night in a scaring home instead of outside lost.
I agree some people should not be allowed to have children.
He is at such a tender age where he is still a little boy but has to prove he is a man too. Blessings to his Grandmother she will have her hands full earning his trust after the life he has had so far.
