A White Butterfly

Can anyone tell me if these are associated with a particular god or goddess?I saw one flying around in my house,but it wasn't a real one.I'm just curious if this could be a sign from a god/dess.Any help would be much appericiated.Thanks.

I suggest you do some research because the butterfly appears in many mythologies, although I'm not so sure about the WHITE butterfly. The butterfly is a universal Native American symbol. In the Apache Bear Dance they entice girls from the underworld. It appears in the Hopi migration myth and are also linked to certain Thunder Bird narratives.

To me, the butterfly represents change. After all, it has had to go through a lot of metamorphosis in order to become that butterfly. Because your butterfly is white, I see optimistic change for you.

In mythology, Psyche is sometimes represent by a butterfly.

Thank you for all the wonderful replies.All weekend long I've been seeing bugs crawling on the walls,when there isn't really anything there.And guess what I found yesterday?A white butterfly in a silver frame that my hubby had bought me at a yard sale years ago.I had completely forgotten about it,till I found it in a box that's been packed for about 3years now.So I'm really happy now.And it's hanging above my computer,so I won't lose it again.
