How does one get a divorce??

How does someone get a divorce without needing the other's consent and not having to wait 7 years to do it with no con test and without having to pay high fees. :woot:

Depends on where you live. Now days marriage is "No Fault" in most states. That means no one is at fault and usually the marriage cannot be contested. Also a lot of places are offering deals on filing for divorce. Here it is $499.00 If you have kids though it can complicate things but only if you throw them into the divorce. It is possible to make the divorce and custody cases seperate. I have heard though that the first step in a lot of places is that you have to file for a legal seperation before you can file for divorce.

There are some places here in the States where it will only cost $75 plus your court cost. Which usually costs about another $75. I would say check with an attorney in your area and see what the law is. Then, go from there.
