i'm eclectic, with some wiccan influences, but there are a lot of other things thrown in, too... i'm currently exploring, and i'm interested in stregheria, so once i read up on that some more and decide if thats how i believe, then i'll still be eclectic, but focusing on that.

Oh yeah, that's me alright. One part Taoist, one part Shinto, a hearty portion of general Pagan-ness sprinkled with international flavor, and a pinch of Zen to taste! Too eccletic, in fact, to possibly list off all of my influences. If I like it and I believe it, I add it to the mix. I think being ecclectic is the best way to be, for me anyway. Some people need guidelines, I guess not me. I make all the rules! ^_~

Hey, Blair, your avatar looks like you stole one of my cats........
Some people take exception to the term "eclectic," although I'm not sure why. I'm a social worker by profession and we are "eclectic" - a mix of psychology, sociology and many different types of theory, so it's only fitting that I be an eclectic pagan. My path is based on "take what you need and leave the rest."

 Being as I follow the Red Road, a.k.a. the Native Path and have always had protectors and guides. A couple of years ago others started to come with my guides, but were not Native.... :awilly: the ramble here is that there is and Scotch/Irish in our genes _twohorns_ , so I am a Lone Dancin Wolf :excuseme: not quite sure what I am.

Eclectic Pagan, seems to be the only label that is accurate at all. Unless you consider Eclectic-Pagan-Mystic. :hehehehe:

I consider myself eclectic as well. :) I've been interested in Wicca for quite some time but I can't seem to find anything that I can really get into. The only thing I've decided on is drawing at least some of my beliefs from Buddhism, Taoism, trancendentalism, and the like. :)

Yeap. I have to say I am eclectic because I am still learning and I sort of like to take the best from various different paths of what makes the most sense to me.

Actually --
I'm eclectic shaman; and i've been broadening into wicca for the parts of my path that i've never delved into.
Wicca is not exclusive of the other. And as a matter of fact i think every religious path has shamans in it. it's the terminology and the useage that needs to be explored by one.
Plus many think shaman has a bad rap due to linkage with medicine men or witch doctors. Education is needed i suppose. much like the conceptions of witches by the public. smiles.
May your day Be Blessed with Light and Love.

Yes, currently I am eclectic, and I'm not sure if that will change as I learn more, I might find a more specific path, and I may not. I was raised Roman Catholic, so I still hold onto some Christian principles or beliefs (such as the Christian God and Christ), but I am interested in Celtic and Norse mythologies, so those are things I am trying to pursue knowledge in.
