I was wondering what everyone does ,on a mundane level, to make their lives sacred? How do you incorporate your path into everyday living?

I do alot of journaling, I have a special tarot journal, and an everyday journal. Sometimes I pray, and I have a special protection chant I do in the shower.

For my 1st "birthday" (that is, my re-birth as a witch! :D ) on Giuli/Yule I want to buy a pendant which for me would have similar relevance as a pentacle for a wiccan (see my avatar for a picture :) ). That would remind me day in day out, the path I've chosen.
I also take the time to notice the weather - for example today was the first frost of the year. This makes the world feel sacred to me :)
When I'm sat watching TV I might hold a crystal and do some energy-work with it, or just hold it and feel it tingle for the sheer pleasure of it.
I chat on MW about my path with my e-coven, the gingerwitches :toofless they make me think about my path a lot, which is fab.
Sometimes though, its inescapable because I can sometimes sense land-wights (land-spirits). That's nice too :) I have a particular affinity with Mugwort, the plant. Whenever I drive past it, I say "hello mugwort, how are you today?" and sense the subtle energy exchange between it and I :)

Before I go to bed I light candles on my altar and pray or thank the Goddess and God for whatever might have happened today. I wear a pentacle everyday or an amethyst pendant. Sometimes I will carry around my favorite crystal and feel it tingling. And sometimes I just stop and take a look around at nature, like when I'm walking home from my bus stop after school. :smileroll

I breathe. I smile. I know that the God and Goddess walk with me, and I remember that. Wherever I go I try to watch my words and my actions. I try to be respectful and mindful of everyone around me. I try to be logical in my words and arguments.
I feel the energy and rhythm of the earth, and I am ever mindful of walking on it and being a part of its energy.
I love. I feel energy and love in everything I do.
That is how I try to make each day sacred.

I like to watch the sun rise behind the trees of my home. It's so beautiful and I can watch from my kitchen where it's warm! (yes, I'm a morning person!)

Well, I see life as symbolic. To me, religion and life is symbolic of how we as souls are always striving to learn, whether we realize it or not. We are always learning. Whenever I dance (I do it often), I am in another world. It is a time for me to get away from the fast paced life and it is a time I can express myself as a divinely created being. To me... I think it's all about living life to the fullest, and I feel that that is one of the highest honors and form of worship you can give the divine. Whenever I go for walks, I try to feel the spirit of nature all around me, the trees, the grass, and whatever nearby birds and other animals that pass by. I always try to feel and experience the Spirit everywhere.

well, almost everynight I light a candle, burn some insense, and ask the God and Goddess for protection and to show me new knowledge. I then turn on some meditative music and do about 10 mins of Yoga; stretching and relasing bad energy from the day. Last night..I grounded, centered, and sent some good healing energy to my sister because she is going through a difficult time now. After all of that, I try to take my time and read a book about the God and Goddess and/or spirituality. This whole thing usually takes an hour or so (sometimes a half hour-forty five mins if I'm busy..). It's not too much to do. I try my best to stay connected. I have a set routine also. That always helps. I like MW also. I feel inspired here...Thanks MWers! :ringaroun

Sometime during the day (doesn't matter when) I light a stick of incense and pray to the God and Goddess and thank them for everything they have given me up until then, and ask them to bless the following day. I also ask them to help me to be a 'better wiccan' and to see the divine in everything. Surprisingly, I feel very odd and 'cut off' from my spirituality if I don't do this little ritual every day. It has become very important to me, and is an affirmation of my faith. I also burn incense and drink herbal teas when I'm surfing MW (like i'm doing now ;) ) and play some nice music (my fave is a band called Delerium...if you like New Age you should definately try them out. Very very cool.) Hope this helps!

I watch the squirrels *grinz*
I saw between 7-9 squirrels at lunch one day chasing each other around a big tree. I had been reading, but I couldn't continue because the squirrels had captured my attention. I love watching them chase, root around for nuts, hang off the roof to eat bird food from the feeder (yes, this happened off our second story balcony, it was kind of scary when the squirrel almost fell a couple of times)

Every day I pray to the god/goddess...."the great divine".... I take time to meditate everyday.... I normally do some kind of divination everyday for others and myself sometimes.... I write in a journal and my BOS.... I try to learn a little something new or better myself a little more in someway everyday... Every night I go outside at night and sit beneath the moon and stars.. ( I feel a stonger connection to the night)... and I just stay silent and just take everything in and feel very connected to the world.. the universe....
*Many Blessings*

im personally not a journal person. i did used to keep a magickal diary but i gave up, lazy fay! :nyah:
i try to just notice my surroundings at random points in the day. eg im waiting for my bus in the morning and thinking "crap im going to be late cos i didnt want to get out of bed this morning AGAIN!" lol, this is a regular occurence for me :p. then i will take a second and notice the trees around the road, the sky and just remember that the world is actually pretty beautiful and not just full of grey buildings and roads.
i also do a blessing at the end of each day just before i go to bed and seeing as its 1:15am and i have college tomorrow im going to go do that and then go to bed. night!
blessed be

Meditate every day (I'm doing better)
Notice the seasons as they change little by little every day.
Talk to *everything*. It all has energy.
Play Heather Alexander... I love Celtic/Pagan!!!!
Drive down the road singing chants.
Divine.
Go for a walk in the woods regularly.
Know and feel all the energy around me all the time. (I've been shielding less... I don't want to cut myself off... I want to open up.)

At the end of my day, before going to sleep, I pray to my two deities, Brigid and Bast. If anything particularly good or bad happened during the day, I tell them. I thank them for all the good things that they've done for me, and I'll often ask for protection, health, happiness.. you know :)
I also sleep with crystals beside my bed. In fact I have crystals all over my room. And in my purse. And school bag. And in my school locker and pant pockets. I also wear jewelery with a lot of stones in them, so I'm constantly surrounded by their magical energies. To me, that's pretty magical.
Sometimes, I light candles and meditate except I often never get around to it. I'll meditate maybe once every 1-2 weeks, which is pretty bad. Ah well.
I also have a cat named Luna. Yes, I named her after the moon. It's funny though, because I named her when I was 6, but I only started dedicating myself to Paganism when I turned 12. (Now I'm 13, by the way. So I've only been Pagan for about a year.) But anyway, my cat is my best friend and partner in magic, so even just going to sleep with her every night and including her in my rituals is enough to keep my day feeling sacred. I love her mucho :D
EDIT: Oh, I also really like Loreena Mckennit, and her music always sets a "sacred-mood" to my days :D I also love Nature and everything about it. Since I avoid public transport at all costs, I spend a lot of time outside. Even if it's just in the city, I still like to connect with the few trees/plants I see.

i try to meditate for at least 10 minutes a day, but it's one of the hardest things for me to do sometimes. my mind won't shutup! lol.
i do, however light a candle and some incense for my gods every day and pray to them, write prayers down and put them in my prayer box, take them out every once in a while and release the ones that have come to pass by burning them. i have a kitchen altar where i make food offerings and offer prayers of thanks whenever the notion hits and i have lots of windows to watch the sun through. :)
have you read "the circle within?" if not, you might want to. it's an entire book on making every moment sacred, i love it.
