Rant here, asking for a reading. Things appear to be looking up ay the moment but, I know, too well, things can take a turn. Love life is still grimm, my cat is with the ex but I think I need to find another temp home for her (no, not the ex), room-mate is phsyco and, they appear to be grooming me for something at work.

Don't think a one card stand will cut the deck. So, break out that gift you have and go to work. Anything goes.

Rant

Well.... I'm waiting.

Thanks,
RnR

Swanspirit,

Could you please post the horoscope readings in the Divination Forum....as I think that is most appropriate. ;) Thanks! :shift:

Rant,

I don't have my cards with me, but I'll do a reading later this evening, after work. :D

I've tried to get into Astrology, but it confuses me beyond my limits!

I've tried the astrology spread....but I use it more like the months of the year rather than the houses it represents....like a one year, month by month overview type of thing. :nyah:

I get so confused just looking at the tables and all the different houses and planets ~ It must take allot of patience and skill to learn.. sigh.. some day! I so admire it though :D

& same for the year spread! even though it freaks me out ;) ~ I have tried the planet spread quite a few times but always get a little confused... Once I know the planets better Im sure Ill understand the cards and spread allot more. :T
.. running over to Astrology now....

Well Sweetie, I haven't done any readings at all for a couple of weeks. We have been so busy with work and planning the purchase of our new house, which we sign for today!!! Something told me as I was dropping Trey off at school this morning that I needed to check in here and offer a reading or two, even though I really wasn't too enthused about it...not sure why. Then I came in here and saw this and new I needed to do a reading for you. As I flipped through my tarot spread book, one seemed to stand out. It is a simple horseshoe spread in which you can find out about any given situation. I will do it now and see what comes up. Not sure what it will address, but I have a feeling it will be the strongest issue you are dealing with. So if my interpretation is off, at least you will know yourself what it means.

It is a seven card spread layed out in the shape of a point...with card #1 being at the bottom left and then going up until card#4 forms the point...then back down the right side with Card #7 at the bottom right opposite card #4.

Card #1: The past- affecting your current situation.

Eight of Wands: This is not the first time I have pulled this card for you. I am wondering if this card is perhaps a significator for you...at least for me??? HHHMMMMM...anyway it is a card of swiftness or of a journey reaching it's end. Usually a happy ending as I see it. Perhaps it is referring to some aspect of your life that has ended and is now becoming an issue. Could be your marriage, the temporary loss of Bear??? Not sure. Lets see what's next.

Card #2: Immediate present.

Two of Swords: hhhmmmm...guess I don't really have to interpret that one for ya! I see her as one who is so guarded and protected that she is missing out on a lot. I know you have had pain in the past, as we all have, maybe you are feeling particularly vulnerable right now. You mentioned something brewing at work and also a psycho roomie...this could be causing you to put up your swords to defend yourself. Just be careful not to tip over and fall into the turbid waters under the weight of those swords friend.

Card #3: Immediate future-affecting the situation.

The Tower: Wow! I say get ready friend because the walls are gonna crumble. That may be literally as in your work or home environment or perhaps symbolically of the walls you are guarding yourself with. Either way, just remember that it is a natural and necessary falling, as the yods in the picture point out that God has his hand firmly in the situation. Perhaps it is the divine stepping in to take over for you. It may seem like a terrible loss at first, but it is necessary and will eventually bring great things your way. Brace yourself friend.

Card #4: Something occupying the querents mind.

Queen of Swords: Hey...who is this queen in your life? To me she is one who has dealt with much pain in life but grown from that. She has loved and lost but is not bitter...anymore. She has come a long way and taken great strides to get over her painful past and is now stronger than ever emotionally. Of course it doesn't necessarily have to be a woman but I sense that it is. Perhaps this is your ex wife? You don't have to tell me if I am right or wrong...you know who it is that has been on your mind.

Card #5: Attitudes of others around you.

Seven of Wands: This card is all about battling because you have won in the past. Confident and maybe even a little cocky. Someone is battling with you just because they have won in the past. I have a feeling that really you let them win though because of your nature. It will not end so this time, because the walls of your struture are coming down and this cycle will be broken. Either with your ex wife, if she is the Queen...she has been a victor before and may be stuck in that mode; or even your roomie, who maybe you overlook at times just to keep the peace, or work???? Not sure who or what this is referring to, but someone thinks they will win.

Card #6: An obstacle- what must be overcome to resolve this situation.

The Devil: MUhahahahaha!!! Sorry I couldn't resist. It's just kind of funny that you have to fight the devil...very Christian of you. NO NO NO .....I didn't say that... Anyway, here we go. I know you understand this card. The easiest way for me to describe it is that someone is traped....Chained to something if you will. It also can at times be an indicator of sexual attraction perhaps to someone you actually dislike as a person. It's not your Psycho roomie is it?? LOL!! Just kidding Sweetie! hhhmmmm...not sure what to tell you here except that you know what is holding you back and how to get free. It's those walls coming down again. I see this happening soon. You are kind of at a crossroads right now trying to figure out which way to go....the answer will be shown to you after the rubble clears. So hold on tight and ride the waves knowing that it has a purpose for you.

Card #7: Final outcome.

The Chariot: Hard control. To me this is the opposite of the strength card. Say you have two dog trainers, one who whips the dog and forces it to obey and the other who uses love and positive reinforcement. Both dogs obey. One is hard control and one is soft control. Both are victorious, as you will be. However the trainer who whips the dog lives in fear of revolt or turning around quickly the control he now has, while the other trainer has no such fear.

I was a little confused so I drew a clarifier and got The Death card.

I would venture a guess that The Chariot is one step towards the final outcome....Death being the next step...letting go of the old so that the new can blossom. Yet one more clarifier and I drew the King of Wands.....now there is the Rant we all know and love. Very successful and a little pompous!!! *wink* This is a man who knows he is right...his way just looks, sounds, flows better. He is happy being who he is, yet also always ready for a challenge. Those damn wands again!!

All in all I feel this was a great reading. Very affirmative. Three wands, two swords, and FOUR majors. Not a reading I would tend to brush off myself. Hopefully it makes some sense to you.

Chicken or something? You never know how deep the water is until you get in it. Sure, your may go under for a while but, we all do. That is, untill we find that swimming can be cool - once we figure it out and all.

Food for thought,
