Brunettes,Redheads,Blondes or Black??

Hey guys and gals!

I was wondering which hair color do you find most attractive? You have to give an honest answer... no "it doesn't matter" here. There has to be a hair color that makes you look twice. I've been all 3... a brunette and then a redhead, and then blonde then back to brunette. I must say- I've gotten the most attention as a blonde and less as a brunette. I never had black hair though!! And I'm sorry, but I put "normal" hair colors on the list, or the "most common"... so you won't find pink or purple.

Please, if you can... explain the reason why you chose what you chose. I'm so curious. I'm thinkin about returning to blonde in spring... but maybe not- I'd rather be myself. What shocked me, was the reaction I got from my co-workers when I returned my hair color back to my natural. People hated it. I don't want to keep up an image just to make others happy, even though it did boost my self- confidence, but I'd rather people look at me for my personality and take me more seriously.

So how about it? What would you choose for the most attractive haircolor and why?

I choose brunettes because... guys with brown hair are cute. Girls with brunette hair are nicer. But, I will admit to looking twice or thrice at a pretty girl with bleach blonde hair, and think in awe "Man, I wish I was that hot."

I've been a brunette and had black hair, both naturally too... When I was born I had black hair, and then when I was 3 it all fell out and grew back brown! My eyebrows, however stayed black. I have since dyed my hair black, and everyone agrees it suits my features better. I like black hair- on girls, on guys, on anyone. And I try not to make generalizations based on haircolor- "all blondes are dumb" or "all brunettes are nice", etc. etc.

I have to say in men, the darker the better. My fiancé has jet black hair and i love it, along with his brown skin, i could melt.

It's really the entire package... and that goes beyond looks... that attracts me or makes my head turn. There is no one hair color, eye color, skin color, body type, gender, age group, or any other singular thing that most attracts me. It's gotta be the combination of a look that I find interesting, a chemical thing that doesn't happen with everyone and probably has a lot to do with scent (not like cologne or body odor, more like a human pheromone thing that I'm not consciously aware of), and a sense that the person is intelligent. If s/he opens her/his mouth and proves my instinct wrong (and it happens), any attraction I may have had will die pretty quickly. And he could look like Brad Pitt with the intelligence of someone with multiple college degrees, but if that chemical thing isn't happening, I may not even notice him. I've been attracted to slender model-types who looked like they belonged in the next big boy-band, older leading man on a soap opera types, and I've even been attracted to someone who could have been the live-model for the Hun in Mulan. The most recent three guys include a chubby, red-headed Ryan Phillipe with somewhat slacker taste in clothing, someone who could pass for the love child of Slash and Cheech, and a Moby look-alike who borrows clothing from Justin Timberlake. If you lined all the guys I've dated up and tried to figure out what they had in common, you would probably only find me as the common denominator.

That lovely shade of blue-black. And I don't care if he dyes it or it's natural, in fact I actually prefer that slightly artificial blue-black shade. And it has to be long. If not long, then shaved into a wide deathrock mohawk. I love that look.

Well... I've myself have HAD just about every hair color (blonde, purple, black, brown/brunette, red, black and blue, black and pink...) Haha... my natural color is actually this "colorless" brunette that appears blondish one day, brownish or reddish another day. Quite unattractive actually.

As far as what I like on men... just like you said, BLONDE... "Draco blonde". And I looooovvve blue eyes. I'd always hoped I'd have a blonde haired-blue eyed baby someday. (Fat chance... Definately brunettes! on Women and Men! I have been a readhead and blonde, in fact very blonde, and the best decission i made was going back to my natural colour - Brunette. Like long straight brilliant titan (I think you call it) red on women.. with very fair skin and faint hints of freckles. The most beautiful woman I ever met had red hair.

For someone reason, people with dark hair and light eyes, or light hair and dark eyes have made me go "Whatwhatwhat." Its all about contrast in that regard.. Although, people with very dark hair and very dark eyes have made me double take before.. Cant say the same about light hair/light eyes though.

Red hair on women is striking.. But red hair on guys (I have red hair and green/blue eyes) has always been kinda "enh." I wonder why that is.

Guys look better with darker hair, brown or black.. Have to have very paticular facial features to successfully pull off blond hair.

I am somewhat attracted to guys that are naturally darker haired- but even still if it was dyed blonde and there's dark roots.

For girls... I think it is unattractive if she had dyed her hair blonde, it doesn't match her facial features... the roots stick out. It's just too fake. Naturally blonde I think is so beautiful.

Esp. on children, they look like little angels. But, children are little angels anyway.

I just went and got my hair did. Really red. It looks great though- with my pale skin and freckles. Really brings out my hazel eyes.

On men, brunette definately and the darker the better. If it is long it's even better! Curly or straight as long as it is long and dark it catches my eye!

On women though either dark auburn or jet black. I've always loved long hair and admire women who can grow theirs long and have it look so awesome. Mine is a dark brown with red overtones and some grey starting to show up and wildly curly. Can't do a thing with it!
