Is there a Celtic goddess that could be the equivalent to Athena?

Brighid. I've seen her compared to Pallas Athena on several occasions in different books.

Athene is a goddess of wisdom and protection, it seems - http://www.goddess-athena.org/Encyclopedia/Athena/Character.htm

Bríd is a goddess of holy wells and water, of smithcraft and the hearth flame, of poets and bards. She is a healer and a muse, a midwife and a crafter. She is a goddess of Wisdom and protection, but not in the same way as Athene.

I don't think they're "equivalent" at all!

Well, the thing is...I've always like Greek and Roman mythology, but I consider myself a Wicca. Wicca seems to have a lot more Celtic undertones than Greek ones...and I know next to nothing about the Celtic pantheons and mythology, so I'm just trying to learn more about them.

Wicca has nothing to do with the Celts really, except that Wicca borrowed the the names of 4 of their festivals, so you shouldn't feel like you have to find a deity from one of the Celtic Cultures.

That was my thought exactly!
