I'm seeing all these threads of negative thoughts. Lets do some sprucing up!

Look at the bright side of life. :smile: You know, the one that was shining through your window this morning but you didn't see it because you were too worried about your day?

I had the most horrible sleep last night but I'm still smiling!
I get to go home in 3 days and finally see my family again!
It's the perfect temperature outside to go for a walk, so I think I will!
I have the time in my life to enjoy a walk with nature! :smile:
We're going to clean our room up and pack today, and that'll make me very happy!
I am not hungry. :smile:
I am not cold. :smile:
I am alive and well and smiling because of it! :smile:

Be optimistic about your day, and your day will be just as optimistic back!

It's so ... insightful to look at the good in your day and pile it all up against the bad. I remember my grandmother used to have this book and I think I still remember the name "Pack up all your gloomies in a great big box, then sit on the box and laugh" or something. Long title, and a little cheesy for my tastes... but :lol: I guess it gets the point across. :smile:

Hey, I'm all for finding the good--sure, sometimes life DOES suck, but hey, if you stop looking at what good you have in your life, I firmly believe the universe stops dishing it out to you. Okay, I'll play.

We just bought four new Gund Snuffles bears today! (Our little family of Gund bears is growing). :huddle:
We aren't hungry, we rent a nice house, we are happy together. :hearteyes
My husband has an extremely rare neurological condition that has left him disabled, HOWEVER....it's not fatal and it doesn't stop him from working and he can still walk and has full use of his mind. :sunny:
We both have jobs we love and have, over the years, met with success in them through a lot of hard work and patience and sweat. :artist:
We have our cats--and they're all safe and sound with us. _cloud9_

There are a lot of terribly rough patches we've been through--I went through 30 years of abusive family and first marriage, Sam has PLS and Type 1 diabetes, we don't own a home of our own and we've both lost parents that mean a lot to us....

...but....

Life goes on, it's what we make it, and even among sadness and worry, we choose to make life work for us rather than letting it run over us.

I just took a nap, although I didn't sleep, technically. :lol: But it was an hour of rest that I needed! And Felix, my cat, was there sleeping with me so that was comforting :)

I was doing errands today and all the trees along the road were all different colors. It was beautiful. I love living in Pa.
Did major grocery shopping today, so the fridge is stocked.
My hair is doing everything I want it to.
I've got plenty of chocolate.
Got to see Harry Potter 1 again. (I know, I'm such a dork. LOL)
