Hi all. I would have to guess that this is the right spot for this post, but just in case, I'm going to make this breif.

I have been very interested in Paganism, Wicca, and Druidism (if that is wrong, im sorry, im new ;) ) I have a set of beliefs, but I dont know wich path to follow. Part of me says look into being a Druid, mostly because alot of my beliefs cicle around nature, and partly because I am mostly Irish, very old Irish, and it would be following in my ancestors footsteps.

I have no problem sharing my beliefs with somone would would be willing to help me get on the right path, in the way of books to read, and things to know, but as i said, i dont know if this is the right place to post such a question, or if it should go to a Councelor.

Thank you all for your time
Michael

This is as good a place as any!

The thing about paths, is that even when you think you've found the right one you can suddenly be surprised by finding a whole new one which appeals to you even more :D

I can't help with Irish books I'm afraid but there are plenty of people here who can - I just wanted to say hello   :welcome:

(Ps - I'm into anglo-saxon recon, and a good book if you're interested in that is Anglo-Saxon magic by G Storms :) )

Well, would be easier to help if you gave us a little perspective on what your *CORE* beliefs are. If you have the time, post here the things that would MOST define your spiritual path, and I am sure there are some kind hearted folk, with similar paths, that could help guide you to the places you would most benefit from. Just a suggestion, friend.

Personally, I took the advise of Robert Frost:

"Two roads diverged in a wood and I,
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made
All the difference."

Go ahead and look into them all. Read what you can, find what interests you. It's not going to all make sense within an hour, so take your time. Just because you may be learning about one path at the moment doesn't mean you are dedicated to that path forever and ever. All it means is that if that path isn't for you, well, you happen to be a little more educated on the subject than someone who has never looked into it at all!

And even if you start down that path, there's nothing saying you can't turn around, start from the beginning again, and go another way, right?

I wish I could be of help to you but I constantly find myself in the same situation. As soon as I feel like I've found my path....something else catches my eye.
Its hard! :wth:
