Your thoughts on this please

I was doing a working today,in circle,but I had to finish abrubtly as my husband came home unexpectedly. He does know what I do out there and accepts it and it's not a cause of friction between us.
I had finished doing what I wanted to do,but did not have time to close the circle properly..in the way I normally do.I just hope that what I had done will still work,as it is too late to do it again.Any thoughts?

I've been there. I'm a single parent and always have to keep eyes open for my daughter so I used to do spell work only at night after she was asleep. (I do teach her about the Craft but I am not comfortable doing it in front of others for some reason.) I am usually so tired at night that I don't get to do too much magick work... So I divised a system in my house whenever my bedroom door is locked I am not to be disturbed unless there is an absolute emergency. Maybe you could let your husband know whenever a room is locked or you are outdoors, not to disturb you and to kindly look the other way as to not make you feel uncomfortable.(?)

My thoughts exactly...what Mairwen asked...why would you not think this is a success?

One thing i might add is that if you have to ask if it was a success, then it probably was not. (This is my opinion.)

IMO, you have to Know. And all Knowing is, is just that, to Know. When you have finished with the Spell, interrupted or not, if you Know that the Spell was a success. Then it was. And is.

Keep this in mind.

Of course, you might just think the spell was not a success because of the Circle being abruptly ended. And that should not have any effect on it.

Ditto ditto ditto! If you completed the spell, then it's complete and should have no reason not to work. As far as the circle not being closed the way you want it, I think of it like osmosis, eventually the excess energy will just dissipate and everything will be back to normal in no time.

that has happened to me before too! usually if i don't get to close the circle the way i would normally do sometimes the energy does just dissipate. but sometimes if it won't i go back as soon as i can & finish closing the circle the way i normally do and that releases the energy!
