I could hardly believe it when I went to my mail box today,
And found that I had received my ….
Very First Christmas Card of the Season!! :woot:
Talk about a day brightener!!
WOW!!
And don’t laugh at me here …
But I thought it was warmly significant,
That my first Christmas Card of the season came from someone here at MW!!!
Thank You Soooooooo very much Goddess Rhiannon for Really Brightening my day!! :hugz:
Now I’ve got Celtic Christmas Music playing,
And tomorrow …
I’m going to start dragging out all the Christmas Decorations!! :bouncybob
But all of this has me wondering ….
Has anyone else here at MW .. Either sent, or received …
Their FIRST Christmas Card of 2004??
Brightest Blessings

I refuse to do anything christmasy until the 1st of December. No music, no decorations, no present shopping, no houselights, definately no tree, and no cards. :) I love the holiday, but I don't want to live with it for months.

I totally understand your thinking....the only reason why I sent everything out so early is simple. I had alot of cards and ornaments to send out to mystic wickers....and I REFUSE....to have anyone on my list....not get there stuff. I sent out early to avoid all that. This way I have plenty of time to make duplicates if need be. No one should feel like they were forgotten....believe me, that is one terrible feeling. :frosty:

Gawwwwwwwwwd you crack me up Tz!!! :rollingla
I absolutely LOVE your honesty :hugz:
I've been really bad about getting my Christmas cards sent "on time" this past couple of years.
For me .....
The whole "Commercialization" of Christmas has just become to depressing to deal with!!!
On the other hand ...
Christmas cards have always been a different story.
I hold the act of sending them,
And receiving them in an almost "sacred" light.
Christmas Cards are something I don't feel like I "HAVE TO DO"
They're something I do, because I genuinely Want To!!
It's my way of saying "I Genuinely Care"
LOL @ Me
I Honestly LOVE Christmas Cards!!! :woot:
