The Secondary progressed Sun: Although this progressed Sun only moves one degree per year, its influence is not to be overlooked. When it comes into contact with another progressed planet by aspect , it also brings to the forefront, through publicity or peer observaton, those factors that are represented by the aspecting planet. This solar movement should be monitored closely as research shows that its influences can be life altering. Any progressed Solar position indicates temporal situations that one finds themeselves in and especially in this case, one's emotional reaction to those conditions. Since we are dealing with a progression, the significant aspects to watch are those of multiples of 30 degrees. Smaller separations may go unnoticed, esepcailly if there are other planets involved. The significant times in life, as indicated through progressed Solar motion, are those that occur when the Sun is in some major contact, such as trines, squares, oppositions and conjunctions. It should be pointed out here also that years of the appulsing aspect will also be the ones in which the most memorable events occur. After the partile aspect is reached, then the memories of those years become a permanent part of one' life experiences. That, because the progressed Sun moves about 1 degee per year, all that is necessary for the Astrologer to do is count the days ( each day equating to one year) from one's birth in order to ascertain what and when the major Solar contacts will be made, using your ephemeris. This system of forecasting is not only simple but also, very accurate.

That this time in life (usually about the age of 40) portends a different set of circumstances in life and that the former situations and associated values no longer apply. That it is also indicative of the friends that one makes during this time of life, and the associates who become close especially those friendships made in the work place, that some of them will become life-long acquaintences and friends.
To progressed or natal Mars: Especially during the earlier years of life (teen and twenties) , this aspect portends a time of bravery, and indulging in interests that are a bit risky, or even adventurous and dangerous. Could indicate something about one's hobbies and profession. In a woman's chart this contact shows a time of marriage interests and is often indicative of something about her marriage partner, by reading the associated aspects, and zodical postions.
To progressed or natal Jupiter: Depending on what other aspects this configuration draws on , it portends a time of inner emotional satisfaction and prosperity,healing and good fortune. That, whatever planet(s) this contact comes into aspect with will often denote what area of life is to be the most fortuante through life's activities. It may foretell a time of receiving a legacy or the fulfillment of some economic promise. Pehaps winning a significant amout of money, or the acquisition of a much needed facility or property.
