I think you're right, actually.

As to "better looking" and "more attractive" these are synonymous for me. If you had said, "Which one looks better?" I'd have given you the answer you were looking for. And I still would have picked the girl because the boy is too feminine, particularly around the mouth and eyebrows.

I like the pic of the girl better- the guy is just sitting there, and the pic, even though it's been altered to look neat, doesn't do that much for me. The pic of the girl has an energy of "paaaaarrrrty" to it- captured motion, and therefore is much more interesting to me.

I'm not quite certain that the question was about which person we found more attractive, but a choice between the two photos....
