All Mother All Father

I seem to be unique in the fact that I do not worship a single "god" or "goddess". I have always looked at the gods and goddesses throughout human history to be personifications of the all mother and all father. The each personify some charecter trait of a being spirit more complex and powerful than we can possibly imagine.

I also always looked at the god and goddess as the all mother and all father because I felt that best represented what they actually are. I have always felt that the lord and lady love us unconditionaly and while we can disapoint them like a parent the love will always be there. And like a mother or father who can intervene from time to time they generally let us do our thing and try to guide us to the "right" path.

I'm sure this won't be a popular view...I do not see Gods and Goddesses as aspects of anything. They are each their own deity--complete in their own right. Venus is NOT the same as Aphrodite, etc. While they do have some similiarities, They have totally different energies.
I'm a polytheist and tend to take exception to the view of all gods or goddesses being just an aspect of the "Mother" Goddess. To me that is limiting and doesn't allow a person to experience the fullness of all the deities. That is too bad in my book.
This, of course, is just my opinion and your mileage may vary,
