What do you think happens there? My mom has had experiances, and why do some people come out and others don't? Could it be a ripple in worlds/time? And how meny of you would go to see if the stories were truly real? I would but I also don't fear much how about the rest of you? :fpeek:

Are you talking about Bermuda?

honestly, i think its just a coincidence... but seriously, if we realy wanted to find out, i'm sure we have the technology to go there and check it out. it would be pretty interesting if something is there... the only thing that i can think of is possibly a connection with atlantis somehow, but there is little evidence to back up that theory. but anyways, people fly/sail/whatever over/through that area all the time, dissapearances are not so much of a common occurence anymore.

The Bermuda Triangle is nothing unusual. You could form a triangle of the same size over just about any section of ocean and have the same number of disappearances. People who've never actually sailed on the ocean don't grasp just how truly vast it is. Nor do they understand how quickly and radically the weather can change. Even a large vessel is an infintesimally small piece of detritus floating on something we know remarkably little about. Nothing paranormal about it. Just the normal hazards of oceanic travel.

The Earth is full of energy and maybe there is a high concentration of electromagnetic energy in the triangle, maybe even enough to throw a compass off or give ya goose bumps. But as far as planes dissappearing and stuff like that,I don't think so.

If anything strange is happening in the Bermuda Triangle, and it isn't a coincidence, then I will be the quack and subscribe to the theory that there's a huge Atlantean crystal under there.
At the very least, I would say the Earth's energy is different there. Whether it's caused by a crystal or not... I'm not quite so certain. :antennae:

That's exactly what happens, due to the geology and mineral composition of Bermuda.

I've heard the concentration of shipwrecks is greater in the triangle than in any other equivalent stretch of ocean, but even so what about compasses going haywire and other unusual phenomenon that occurs in the triangle?
I'm convinced something goes on in the bermuda triangle which causes these things, however there is no particular reason to have to believe that the causes are supernatural. I've heard an interesting theory about the ocean belching massive amounts of gases which could cause ships to lose their buoyancy and sink.

The mineral composition of the island tends to foul up magnetic navigational equipment.

Yeah, I missed that. It makes sense. As I said, I don't think there is something supernatural involved here. Something is definitely going on, but I believe it to be natural and science can figure it out.

Weell, every year hundreds of thousands of vessels pass threough it safely. But there are, to this day, more disappearnces there that in other parts of the turbulent carribean. There is also a very large radio dead spot in it, and the waves in parts are triangular. As I understand it, there is only one other place on the planet that has the same irregularitites: Dragon's trianlge, exactly opposite on the globe. I can't swear that's true, but I was really into the Bermuda triangle once upon a time. It is a strange place, if for no other reason than that weather is highly unpredictable and very dangerous to vessels, even in this high tech age.
