Robin Wood Tarot deck
The Spread:
5 3 1 2 4
=================================================
5 = What you’re still "dealing with," "digesting,"and "not 'letting go' of"; 3 = the Recent Past; 1 = the Present; 2 = the Near Future; 4 = the Far Future -- What "may occur" if No Changes are made by you . . .
Hey SnowyMoon:
Hope you're well . . . this is an interesting reading ("Aren't they all!") in a lot of different ways . . . let's see; you have:
4 cards out of 5 that are ALL ill-dignified ("Reversed") and the only one that's not is a Major key, #0/The Fool!
Moreover, the 4 ill-dignified cards represent ALL of the Four Suits; Cups, Pentacles, Wands, and Swords--Right-to-Left!
There are Two Court cards appearing on each of the ends;
Position 5 = Left <===> Right = Position 4
On the Left is the King of Swords and on the Right is the Knight of Cups; both ill-dignified, as already mentioned, above.
Now, then:
Position ONE (The PRESENT) = the 3 of Wands (ill-dignified):
I immediately "saw" . . . Iraq . . . and either a relative or . . . it's a man . . . hmm . . . if not Iraq, then, a man coming to you from "overseas . . ." (((I'm either "right or wrong," about it, so, please tell me? Thx!))) There's some "bad news," here, I'm afraid; either he's "coming over" and bringing it, or the fact that he CANNOT come over is the "bad news . . ."
Position TWO (The NEAR FUTURE) = the 6 of Pentacles (ill-dignified):
"The Accountant!" In the Robin Wood Tarot deck this is who everyone "Goes to and Borrows Money from . . ."
It's not a "stretch" for me to say--with The Holidays approaching!--that; "I see that you'll be hard-pressed for money, soon . . ." or something similar to that, but, seriously: Are you currently, or are you "afraid" that due to an "investment" or a "loan received" you're going to have difficulties repaying, soon, or on time? Are you "refinancing" anything? A home, property, a real estate investment that's "going/gone south?"
If any of these things ARE TRUE I'd suggest "making things right," if only by TALKING, or doing whatever it is that you have to do because, if not, by February/March 2005 things will be even WORSE financially.
Position THREE (The RECENT PAST) = #0/The Fool
Finally, aye? A DIGNIFIED card and it's a Major key! And #0/The Fool, to boot! Well . . . usually I'd go with . . . "Something Completely Different," but, I'm seeing about the same things I saw above in Position TWO; like you've "bitten off more than you can chew," or; made a hasty decision in an area where you weren't . . . "experienced?" I'm thinking "money" and some "investment," again?
In the Robin Wood deck instead of a "staff"--there're several "differences" in this key compared w/a traditional Tarot deck--#0/The Fool is playing a "flute," but is still the same, "lackadaisical," "footloose and fancy free" Fool, and the key is characteristic of "Risk taking" and "Free Will," but . . .
. . . being SURROUNDED by every other card ill-dignified, coupled w/the 6 of Pentacles on the Right of it and the King of Swords ("The Boss!") on its Left--both "reversed," remember!--this . . . This can't be a "positive sign," I don't think (sorry to say).
Position FOUR ("What may change if you do nothing . . .") = the Knight of Cups:
Knights (to me) are almost always "messengers" and usually "real people" who are going to be "delivering them," in some way, shape, or form. Now, coupled with the 3 of Wands in Position ONE (The PRESENT) and the 6 of Pentacles in Position TWO (NEAR FUTURE) that they're BOTH "reversed," and they're BOTH signaling an "arrival from "over the seas" and that they're BOTH men, it just again strengthens me to see that a "man," who's a "close friend" or "lover" will either be arriving with "bad news," or will not be able to make it for the holidays, at all . . .
I'll go as far as to say that this could be the "INVESTMENT" that's "GONE SOUTH" that I saw in Position ONE and TWO!!! That, this means--without the "means" or the "money"--he'll NOT be able to ARRIVE, at all . . .
Man Alive I Swear! I DIDN'T realize that this would be such a "negative" and a "downer" of a reading when I first considered the cards! And? It continues . . .
Position FIVE ("What is continuing to linger in your life . . .") = the King of Swords (ill-dignified):
As mentioned, above, this card can be called "The Boss!" One of the things that I love about the Robin Wood Tarot deck is that not only does she incorporates "all of the 'traditional' meanings" in her drawings, but, she's "heighten them," made them "stand out," and, not only that but she's added some of her own (and she readily--of course!!!--begs the reader to "throw away 'The Book' and see what meanings YOU see . . ." &c) and in this Court card there's Little to No Doubt that he's The Boss . . .
. . . and I bet that within the past six-months, perhaps during the summer, you "got rid of" some "boss," maybe quit your job, and? Things were going fine, "swell," great! But? Now? You've had second thoughts and you wish that you could "return," but you cannot.
Are you currently "un" or "underemployed?"
Just wondering!
As always, comments, criticisms, critiques, and questions are encouraged!!!
Thx for allowing me to read for you, SnowyMoon!!!
