I saw my uncle (yes the one who went manic a while ago) and Jesse down town the other night when i was there with Brandie and Mishka. Out the window of their car they gave me my graduation present from my "uncle Doug," a friend of my uncle that I have not seen in a good amount of time
The present was a set of tarot cards. Now, I'm a rune reader took to runes in a way I never took to tarot... but these are soooo gorgeous… I absolutely love this art… it draws me in. In a strange ways it touches me. I have a weakness for art like this... the kind that shows real people, even imperfect, not classically pretty bodies: real bodies… here is the site about them.. look at some of the images: http://www.stevee.com/pages/t.fs.html
Doug wrote me a card, and in it mentioned that he was there when a lot of the pictures for these cards were made. He even wrote something like “if these aren’t yours perhaps you can pass them on.” Which is normally what I do with tarot cards. But these are demanding I try them… bloody screaming it, you might say.
Now they are spread on my altar, (yay, I finally have it set up! More on that in a mo….) so my main worry is that one of the cats will decide to set them to the four winds.
