Hey all,
I just thought I would share this gift idea that you could buy for yourself! This is based on the idea that most parents have less time and less money, especially for romantic alone time. So my idea is take some of the money you might use for a gift for your spouse or the house or whatever and buy a gift certificate or gift card to your favorite restaurant or movie theatre or club. Some place you doubt you may see for the next 10 years LOL
Then you have no excuse to not use it! And if money gets tight the money is already is spent so you do not need to scrape it up later. During stressful times a nice already paid for dinner, out with your honey could be a life saver.
I am thinking that instead of my DH and I exchanging cheap gifts (we are on a very tight budget) for Yule we should pool our meager funds and buy a gift card to our favorite place. We can treat ourselves after the Holiday stress. :hearteyes
