Living here in Wisconsin its all over our news. I do not know what exactly happened, no one does for sure yet, but one thing I do know is the Hmong people are treated horribly by a lot of the population here. Especially when it comes to hunters. I used to hunt and Hmong hunted in the same area as I and most of the other hunters where quite aggressive toward the Hmong. Hunters here have a attitude that they dont want the Hmong hunting in our state. Sure not all hunters are like this but from my hunting expirance I found that the majority have this attitude when out in the woods. I have been honestly frighten for the Hmong hunters from the things I have witnessed. I wont pass judgement yet. Not enough is truely know. Reports are leaning to one side right now.

We got scared when that happened the other day. My dad and some other guys are hunting up there. They are just north of where that happened.

I don't doubt it, Shanti, but that doesn't justify opening fire on people. I don't know if someone shot at him first, but that doesn't seem likely to me. It seems strange that he could gun down so many armed people without them firing back.

I like the line about him throwing his ammunition in the swamp because he "didn't want to shoot anyone else(???)." If the guy thought he was in danger, then why would he get rid of his ammunition, other than to hide it?

Right now its all spectualation. The investigation is active. A lot of things may come to light. He may be wacko...or there may be more to the story than what is being speculayed right now.
I still think assuming anything at this point is unfair.
My 2 cents:)
