I'm doing a reading for someone and I have a feeling that I may be being slightly biased in a part of it. I don't know her personally, but I know a few details about her (through online journals). Here's the thing. In this reading, I'm supposed to find out what the issue is myself. Obviously, the cards mean more than one thing depending on the situation, but with the way things are coming out in my head, I'm thinking that I'm taking an issue I know she has, and applying it to the reading.
Does that make sense?
So, I know what I see.
I need to know what you, someone who has no clue of who this person is at all, sees in the cards.
1. The Issue - Queen of Rods
2. Unconscious Factor: The Sun
3. Conscious Factors: 3 of Rods
4. Decision: 7 of Cups
5. Outcome: Death
Thanks so much :)

1. the isue. queen of rods is generally linked with leo, so the person is maybe fighting a lot when set off, since its a girl, and this is a female card, i'm guessing its meaning her.
2. unconscious factor. i think this may be the bright side of things is hiding. clarity and creativity are represented by this card, so if its unconscious, then perhaps its saying that the girl isn't really taking into consideration the positive aspects of the situation.
3. conscious factors. goals have been set, new opportunities are opening up, perhaps getting in the way of things.
4. decision. making a realistic choice, instead of setting unrealistic goals, it is time to make some solid plans.
5. outcome. something ending, something else beginning.

anyways, i really have no clue of her situation, i don't think my interpretation of these cards is very clear according to the problem... you make it sound like theres something realy bad or something going on in this girls life, but all i can come up with deals with making wise decisions, which can still be applied to the situation, but not very concise. so i don't know. i feel that there is a lot of creativity being masked here, most of the cards drawn signify creativity in some way, al escept death. but again. i'm not so great at this, so i'm not sure.

The Queen would be the issue, but I'm also thinking that it's her. She's excited about something. She is very optimistic right now about this issue. She's all fired up. She may not be thinking clearly through this because she is so keyed up and happy about it. Have I mentioned the excitement? ;)

The Sun as the unconcious factor is another clue that whatever this thing is, she's really worked up about it. She's seeing very positive things and she may be avoiding the fact that while the Sun can shine brightly, give us warmth, love and all those good things, we can also be exposed to it too much and get burnt out.

The 3 of Rods in this case would indicate to me that she thinks her "ship has come in". I can't help but feel as though this is sort of like a "get rich quick scheme". Everything seems to be going her way so far, and she can't see anything bad coming of this. I don't really see anything bad either, but I would urge at least SOME caution and thought.

The 7 of Cups sort of reiterates my "think it through" idea. Here I'm thinking that she's going to have to make a decision in order to gain something, but she have to let go of something else. Her head is up in the clouds right now and she needs to get it outta there and come back down to earth and start thinking from a practical point of view. Thus far we've seen no practicality at all, no Pentacles and no Swords. It's all fire and water... excitement and emotion. She can't do it all, some decisions will have to be made.

The Outcome is change. Change will occur no matter what she does at this point. She is looking forward to the change. I hope it turns out to be everything she is expecting, but I'm also thinking some things will change that she may not have thought of yet. I would urge her to slow down and re-evaluate some things. The decision she needs to make, or the adventure she's embarking upon doesn't seem to be a bad one, it's just not very well thought out at this point.

Does that help you at all? I know it's not very specific. I'm getting the impression of a move for some reason, although I can't say I got that from the cards. *shrug*

Thanks, halfway and Lisa :)
See, here's the thing.
I see this queen as a very loving and creative motherly person. Just the personality and etc.
Then the Sun, is sometimes, but not often, a baby prediction.

In her journal, she talked about taking a pregnancy test and it came out negative. What if the test was wrong?

Which could tie in to the ship has come in/the ship is coming in, and the 7 of cups -> all of the choices she has, all to do with a baby -> death = the end of life as she knows it right now because we know that kids change everything.

EXCEPT, in her journal, she sounded quite afraid of possibly being pregnant. Which would kill the excitement in pretty much the first 4 cards, which made me think "I'm probably being biased".

Thanks so much, I really appreciate your opinions!

Hi, you know looking at these cards and the numbers I feel that the issue for her at the moment is her fear of change; and possibily the fact that she feels like she's not in control of the situation she's in. As the Queen of Wands she is probably used to be in control of everything, and always succeeding at everything she does. Perhaps is fearful that she won't or can't succeed in this particular situation...she does have some choices though - she just needs to find the confidence to make the necessary decision...It seems like she may not be aware of the joy and peace she attain by making certain changes in her life and deciding to take a risk and try something new...no matter her decision...any choice she does make will result in big changes in her life.
