I came across an interesting article just now. As some of you may know, I'm going through a VERY trying time.A few months ago, I was stirring the coals in the cauldron, and the 3 people around me saw a dark Egyptian looking woman standing behind me and cat's faces in the cauldron. I saw nor felt either, but my HP blurted out that it was Sekhmet (not Bast as one might think. BTW, my now former HP and best friend is the root of my current problems.) Anyway, the article about Sekhmet I came across mentions that there were once thousands of statues of her carved from red granite lining the processional ways in the New Kingdom to placate the "Red Lady"!!!! Red lady! I swear I never heard her referred to as such before. Must be a sign, huh :floating:
