Crown Chakra Tenderness

My crown chakra has been feeling tender for about three weeks. It really hurts to touch, any idea why this might be happening. I haven't opened it for a couple of months as life as been too hectic and when I do I always ground myself.

Are you sure it's an energy-related tenderness, and not physical? Can you describe the sensations you get there? I'm not sure I'll be able to help...

How exactly do you go about 'opening' your crown chakra, anyway?

No it's definitely energetic, it's not there all the time but when I touch my head it tingles like crazy. I open my crown chakra by imaging a white beam of light coming down from the sky shooting into my crown chakra, through all the other chakras, intensifying the colours and making them stronger.

I open the crown chakra especially when opening to spirit or astral protection and when I'm doing an chakra cleansing meditation.
