Your thoughts on "Spells And Magic"

what do you people think about http://www.spellsandmagic.com ? I think this is another commercialisation that shouldn't be there. "Spell to change your eyecolor"; "Spell to break 2 loved ones up"; etc. etc.

imho you can't simply "just" cast spells.

Hmmmmm on the first page it says "Not for Children or Minors", I personally think it should read "Not for those with a brain and an indepent thought system".

Is a terrible optional rule system for Dungeons and Dragons 2nd edition. Like, the system wasn't complicated enough to begin with? We already have to memorize about 30 different rolls and statistics just to storm a dungeon, do we REALLY NEED a special critical hit table for spells, when it almost always ends up being detrimental to the purpose you cast it. Either your fireball fizzles, or roasts one of your friends, you don't win. Friends don't let friends use Spells and Magic. Same goes for Skills and Powers. Just straight AD&D for me please!!!
